Coming Fall 2026: Elementary Enrichment Program

Placing the Home back in schooling

Hemlock Commons is the future home of something our community has been asking for: a structured enrichment program for homeschool families, as well as afterschool clubs and summer camps.

Starting Fall 2026, we're planning to offer hands-on, nature-rooted enrichment classes for school-age kids (ages 5–13) — think nature science, STEM and maker projects, arts, cooking in the commercial kitchen, and outdoor education.

The Homeschool Program
This program is designed to supplement — not replace — your family's homeschool approach. Play Frontier handles the enrichment; you stay in the driver's seat.

What's Beginning to Take Shape

We're building something flexible — designed to fit real family life, not the other way around.

- A 4-day enrichment program, Monday–Thursday, 8am–1pm
- One full-day outdoor experience per week — think Adventure Mondays or Forest Fridays, trails, and hands-on nature exploration
- After-school clubs in STEM, arts, science, and cooking for kids who want more
- Enrollment options that work for your schedule

The Clubs

Learning doesn't stop at 1 pm. Our after-school clubs offer hands-on, interest-led experiences in STEM, arts, science, and cooking — giving kids the chance to dig deeper into what lights them up. Club offerings will be shaped by community interest and grow with the program.

Details are still forming, and that's intentional. We want your input to help shape what this becomes.
